Montreal Sights and Museums
- Notre-Dame Basilica (Basilique Notre-Dame): This cathedral was built in 1820 and next to it is the Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours which is the oldest church in Montreal .
- Parc Olympique (Olympic Park): The site of the 1976 Olympic games is now a venue for concerts with a sports area and a biodôme containing 4 different ecosystems.
- Jardin Botanique: With over 20,000 different varieties of plants, the botanic garden in Montreal is the 3rd largest in the world with, among other things, an insectarium and a japanese garden with a large selection of bonsai trees.
- Musée d'Archéologie et d'Histoire Pointe-à-Callière: This museum is situated where the Europeans first settled when they arrived in the area. It shows how Montreal was at the beginning, using knowledge from historical facts and archeological finds.

Montreal Transports
- How to get there by Air: The airport, approx 21km west of the city centre is called Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (PET). International and national flights operate to this airport
- By Bus: Some of the major coach companies that run to Montreal are Voyager (Greyhound), Coach Canada (Trentway-Wager), Limocar, Adirondack Trailways, Galland, and Orléans Express. The central bus terminal is at Berri-UQAM Metro
- By Train: Amtrak and Viarail run trains to Montreal from the US and cities in Canada .
- Metro: Montreal has an excellent metro system which is fast and comfortable and in unusual in having each station designed by different architects
- Train: The train company ATM operates trains around the city.
- Bus: The bus system is good with buses generally running on time. There are over 100 bus routes around the city. Tickets cost $2.25 for a single trip or you can buy day passes etc.
